Ultrasound Training -Vascular Interpretation Ultrasound

- Identify normal anatomy on a Doppler scan
- Identify Doppler/color artifacts on a scan
- Identify normal waveform characteristics on a Doppler scan
- Recognize abnormal spectral and color Doppler pathology on a Doppler scan
- Characterize plaque formation
- List the interpretation criteria for NASCET and ACAS
- Correlate and analyze the normal vs. abnormal information on a Doppler scan
- Complete the interpretation and structure a report for a Cerebrovascular scan
- Discuss the technical factors that affect the quality of the Peripheral vascular ultrasound scan
- Identify normal anatomy on a lower extremity arterial scan
- Identify waveform characteristics on a venous scan
- Recognize acute DVT, chronic DVT and venous insufficiency on a scan
