Ultrasound Training - Venous Reflux Ultrasound Training
Fifty percent of the adult population of the
United States has some abnormality related
to the venous system. Non-invasive ultrasound
testing can determine the locations and extent
of the vascular disease. Learn or cross-train your
personnel in the advanced vascular techniques
and interpretation necessary to perform the
procedures that could expand your practice and
speed the patient’Äôs diagnosis.
Course Objectives
Identify the ultrasound protocol and perform the ultrasoun procedure appropriate to the target patient
population.
Use the correct transducer and equipment settings for
a color Doppler investigation of venous reflux.
Identify venous reflux and grade the severity using
Doppler ultrasound techniques.
Identify normal and abnormal lower extremity anatomy
and variants using real-time ultrasound techniques.
Discuss appropriate treatment options based on anatomy
and severity of venous disease.
Complete a successful ultrasound procedure for venous
reflux testing.
