Magnetic Resonance Program

Advanced Health Education Center (AHEC) provides leading education in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).  There is a multitude of courses available to radiologic technologists interested in acquiring basic skills, advanced imaging techniques including MR Angiography (MRA) and preparation for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) ARRT registry and the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) examination. The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)) program offers a Fellowship course that will allow technologists to enroll in a four-day theory course related to MRI physics, MRI scanning protocols, cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.  Following completion of the theory course technologists can enroll in clinical rotations in area facilities to allow them to acquire MRI scanning skills, Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) and also accrue clinical experience needed to prepare for the ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Registry. Advanced Health Education Center also offers the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) registry review. The MRI registry review will assist technologists with preparation for the ARRT advanced examination in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) examination.

Seminars are available throughout the year in different cities making it convenient to update existing skills. Partnership classes sponsored in health care facilities can make the education available in smaller geographic venues with the choice of subject content catering to the local audience.

Faculty is available for private consulting, tutorials, and instruction. Our experts can provide a range of services including image assessment, quality control and quality assurance, accreditation, education, hands-on training, and project management. If you can not wait for a class on our regular schedule, we can arrange for private tutorials. We also provide classes on-site for physicians' groups and radiology departments. We still make "House Calls".
