Human Trafficking Prevention Training
We are pleased to share that the Advanced Health Education Center (AHEC) has officially received its Human Trafficking Prevention for Healthcare Personnel course approval extension for the 2026–2028 cycle. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has authorized this course until June 26, 2028, in compliance with the Texas Occupations Code as of June 26, 2026. The course will now be included in the list of HHSC-approved courses for health care practitioner licensing renewal requirements. Staying fully compliant with regulatory standards ensures that our students and training partners receive the highest level of recognized medical imaging and healthcare education.

If you previously needed a Human Trafficking Prevention course for Texas HHSC compliance, please note that this course will no longer fulfill that requirement after March 13, 2025.
